Digital Color

When creating an online digital website, color is a very crucial aspect when trying to compete in a visually based industry.  Regardless of the type of website you are creating, the visual layout of your web page will allow you to stand out from your competitors.  By brightening up pictures and using colors that stand out will create a more professional feel to your website.  It will give off an impression that your website it more modern and up to date.

Dealing with color can be a issue when creating the web page.  There are two different color spectrum that the website designer must deal with.  The two spectrum are Red, Green, Blue (RGB) and Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (CMYK). RGB are consider the primary colors and CMYK are considered to be secondary colors.  When editing photos or videos you will play around with the RGB color spectrum.  This will take the original photo or video and skew the colors.

When dealing with my music social networking website I want the layout of the site to have clear and colorful photos.  If bands want to upload pictures from concerts, I want the pictures to be clear and colorful.  This may require the web designer to edit each photo on the site, but this will be essential to keep up with the vision of my website.  I want to give off a professional vibe to my website. If pictures are not of the highest quality, it will take away from the quality of the website.
